* WHAT. Up to one half foot of inundation above ground level expected in low lying areas due to tidal flooding. * WHERE. Shoreline in the District of Columbia. * WHEN. From 11 AM this morning to 2 PM EDT this afternoon, especially around the time of high tide. * IMPACTS. Shoreline inundation is expected along portions of the seawall adjacent to Ohio Drive and the Hains Point Loop Road, and near the Tidal Basin and Jefferson Memorial. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. Tides one and a half to two feet above normal. The next high tide at Washington Channel is at 12:42 PM.

Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT. Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE. Potomac River at Edwards Ferry. * WHEN. From this afternoon to tomorrow morning. * IMPACTS. At 15.0 feet, Water reaches the boat ramp and lower parking area at Edwards Ferry, and begins to inundate areas near Whites Ferry. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 6:00 AM EDT Saturday the stage was 11.9 feet, or 3.1 feet below flood stage. - Forecast. The river is expected to rise above flood stage this afternoon to a crest of 15.5 feet this evening. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 15.0 feet. - Flood History.
