Until 6 AM EDT Wednesday, especially around the time of high tide. * IMPACTS. At 3.0 feet, water is expected to reach backyards near 9th Street in North Beach, and could approach 9th Street. At 3.5 feet, yards are flooded near Charles Street and Williams Street in Solomons. Nearby parking lots and the streets themselves are covered by more than a half foot of water. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. Tides one and a half to two feet above normal. The next high tide at Solomons Island is at 2:16 PM and 2:35 AM. The next high tide at Chesapeake Beach is at 4:09 PM and 4:18 AM.

Shenandoah River at Millville affecting Clarke, Jefferson and Warren Counties. . The Flood Warning is cancelled for the following rivers in Virginia. South Fork Shenandoah River near Luray affecting Page County. For the South Fork Shenandoah River. including Lynnwood, Luray, Front Royal. Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT. Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE. Shenandoah River at Millville. * WHEN. From this afternoon to Thursday afternoon. * IMPACTS. At 12.0 feet, Water reaches the river access at Wagon Trail Place near Harpers Ferry, and completely covers the parking lot of the lower boat ramp at Millville Dam. Portions of the Cool Spring Battlefield begin to flood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 11:30 AM EDT Tuesday the stage was 7.7 feet, or 2.3 feet below flood stage. - Forecast. The river is expected to rise above flood stage late this afternoon to a crest of 12.6 feet tomorrow morning. It will then fall below flood stage late Thursday morning. - Flood stage is 10.0 feet. - Flood History.
