At 3.5 feet, yards are flooded near Charles Street and Williams Street in Solomons. Nearby parking lots and the streets themselves are covered by more than a half foot of water. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 9:46 AM EDT Friday was 11.8 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.6 feet just after midnight tonight. In northern Maryland, Baltimore. * WHEN. Until 1100 PM EDT Friday. * IMPACTS. Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 447 PM EDT, The heaviest rain has ended, but excess runoff from earlier rainfall will runoff into the Patapsco River. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. The water level at Elkridge is approaching the flood stage of 16 feet. At 16 feet, Hammonds Ferry Road floods at the Patapsco River. - Some locations that will experience flooding include. Elkridge. Historic Ellicott City. Ellicott City. Catonsville. Arbutus. Ilchester. At 12.5 feet, The creek is well out of its banks with lowlands nearby flooded. Golf Course Road /County Road 36/ is flooded near the Van Metre Ford Pedestrian Bridge. Fields and backyards near the creek are flooded and some residents may need to move items to higher ground. Several other roads are flooded, including Grapevine Road, Douglas Grove Road, and Paynes Ford Road. Backwater flooding is occurring on small tributaries, including Tuscarora Creek. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 11:16 AM EDT Friday the stage was 11.6 feet, or 1.6 feet above flood stage. - Recent Activity. The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 11:16 AM EDT Friday was 11.8 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to rise to a crest of 12.9 feet this evening.
