At 1000 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Granville South, moving northeast at 35 mph. HAZARD. Wind gusts up to 45 mph and very heavy rain. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Visibility will be poor and hydroplaning is possible. Locations impacted include. Newark, Heath, Granville, Hebron, Hanover, Beechwood Trails, Granville South, Marne, Alexandria, St. Louisville, Fredonia, Toboso, Purity, State Route 310 at State Route 161, Interstate 70 at State Route 37, and Fallsburg. This includes I-70 in Ohio between mile markers 125 and 127. If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a sturdy building. Motorists should slow down and use extra caution. * WHAT. Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE. The following counties, in central Ohio, Delaware, Franklin and Licking. * WHEN. Until 1145 PM EDT. * IMPACTS. Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 831 PM EDT, radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1.5 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible. - Some locations that may experience flooding include. Columbus, Westerville, Johnstown, New Albany, Galena, Hartford and Center Village.
