At 843 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Powell, moving southeast at 35 mph. HAZARD. Wind gusts up to 45 mph. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include. Columbus, Dublin, Westerville, Delaware, Gahanna, Worthington, Powell, Minerva Park, Polaris, Easton, New California, Whitehall, New Albany, Shawnee Hills, Galena, Riverlea, Port Columbus Airport, Alum Creek State Park, Clintonville, and US Route 33 at US Route 42. This includes I-71 in Ohio between mile markers 114 and 129. If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a sturdy building. * WHAT. Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE. The following counties, in central Ohio, Delaware, Franklin and Licking. * WHEN. Until 1145 PM EDT. * IMPACTS. Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 831 PM EDT, radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1.5 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible. - Some locations that may experience flooding include. Columbus, Westerville, Johnstown, New Albany, Galena, Hartford and Center Village.
