At 504 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 10 miles south of Frazeysburg, or 9 miles west of Zanesville, moving southeast at 35 mph. HAZARD. Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include. Zanesville, South Zanesville, Fultonham, East Fultonham, Cannelville, Ruraldale and Dillon State Park.

At 458 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Plain City, moving east at 35 mph. HAZARD. Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Hail may cause minor damage to vegetation. Locations impacted include. Columbus, Dublin, Upper Arlington, Gahanna, Hilliard, Worthington, Bexley, Plain City, Ohio State University, Easton, Lake Darby, Whitehall, New Albany, Grandview Heights, Valleyview, Marble Cliff, Riverlea, Port Columbus Airport, Amity, and Clintonville. This includes the following Interstates. I-70 in Ohio between mile markers 86 and 108. I-71 in Ohio between mile markers 103 and 116. If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a sturdy building. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM EDT for central Ohio. The Miami Valley Regional Planning Commission and the Regional Air Pollution Control Agency have issued an Air Quality Alert for Montgomery, Miami, Greene, Clark, Preble and Darke counties in the Miami Valley Region, from midnight tonight to midnight EDT Monday night. Levels of ozone within the region may approach or exceed unhealthy standards. On Alert days, help reduce ozone by taking the following actions: * Carpool, if possible, bike, walk or take the bus instead of driving alone. * Refuel your vehicle after 8 pm. * Do not idle your vehicle, exhaust contributes to air pollution. * Mow your lawn in the evening hours and avoid the use of gas-powered lawn equipment.
