At 458 PM EDT, a cluster of strong thunderstorms were located near Hocking Hills State Park, moving east at 10 mph. HAZARD. Wind gusts up to 40 mph, pea size hail, and very heavy rain. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Hail may cause minor damage to vegetation. Visibility will be poor and hydroplaning is possible. Locations impacted include. Logan, Nelsonville, Hocking Hills State Park, Starr, Murray City, Ilesboro, Gibisonville, Lake Logan State Park, Haydenville, Enterprise, Union Furnace, Rockbridge, Oreville, and Carbon Hill. The Miami Valley Regional Planning Commission and the Regional Air Pollution Control Agency have issued an Air Quality Alert for Montgomery, Miami, Greene, Clark, Preble and Darke counties in the Miami Valley Region, until midnight EDT tonight. Levels of ozone within the region may approach or exceed unhealthy standards.
